Fitzroy River Bridge – Kimberley Region
Project Overview
Following the destruction of the original Fitzroy River Bridge during the 2023 Kimberley floods, the new bridge project became one of Western Australia’s highest-priority regional infrastructure undertakings. Delivered under demanding environmental, geographic, and timeline constraints, the project required precision fabrication and reliable supply of critical bridge components.

Project Outcome
Level Steel played a direct role in enabling safe and efficient construction of the New Fitzroy River Bridge by supplying high-quality temporary works platforms (crows nests), handrails, and piling support elements. Despite the remote location and accelerated delivery schedule, all components were fabricated to specification, delivered on program, and fully compliant. The result is a resilient, high-capacity bridge that restores vital transport connectivity for the Kimberley region.
